Brow Lift

Introduction

Brow Lift in Tijuana

As we age, our brows may shift closer to our eyelashes, and we often develop lines across the forehead and frown lines between the brows. This is when a brow lift might come in handy. The operation is also known as a brow lift since it “lifts” the brow while simultaneously decreasing frown lines and furrows.

It can be performed alone or in conjunction with eyelid surgery, skin resurfacing, or a facelift. Dr. Diego Ampudia is now accepting consultations: schedule yours today!

Benefits

Brow Lift Advantages

Removes Forehead Wrinkles

Horizontal wrinkles across the brows are removed, revealing smooth, young skin above the brows.

Corrects Frown Lines

The “frown lines,” or vertical furrows between the brows, are enhanced to create a more open and inviting look.

Rejuvenates Your Eyes

Drooping brows that droop over the eyes might give the impression that you are sleepy or grumpy. With a brow lift, you can look more alert and friendlier.

Enhances line of sight

Excess skin and fatty tissue from the brows can be lifted to address visual impairment caused by this hooding of the eyelids.

Types of Brow Lifts

Endoscopic

Several tiny incisions are used, resulting in minimum scarring hidden among the hair. The surgeon uses an endoscope (a thin tube with a camera and light attached) to inspect and alter the internal structures. Endoscopic brow lift does not effectively remove extra skin and allows for a quicker recovery time.

Classic

An incision is made along or inside the hairline above the brow. The surgeon raises the skin to provide access to the underlying tissues and, if required, to remove fat. As the incision is sutured, excess skin is removed, and the new brow position is stabilized. Numbness behind the incision may last between nine and twelve months.
